Subject: URGENT SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN ALERT

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are putting out a safeguarding alert to make our parents and carers aware that we have been advised of a man seen today at 12 noon acting suspiciously near to Weydown Nursery School, by one of their parents.

He was looking into the nursery from the road and walked around the car park at pick up time. He had been seen by the same parent earlier in the morning at the nursery as well. He later drove off from the car park in a black VW polo. He was wearing a black puffer jacket with the hood up and was of Asian / Chinese appearance, with very short hair, age 30s to 40s.

The same person has apparently been spotted last Summer at the Lion Green playground acting suspiciously (possibly taking photos) and a warning was put out by the local schools about him. It is believed he was spoken to by the police.

We would ask all our parents to be extremely vigilant.

Thank you.
